ABOUT MANGATA
Mångata was started by two families that share an unimaginable love for Manuel Antonio. One local and one from afar, we worked together to be able to share our passion for Costa Rica.

Quepos & Manuel Antonio
The villas at Mångata overlook the beautiful waters that were once inhabited by the Quepoa Tribe. Known for their skilled hunting and fishing abilities, the tribes built their transform strategically places rocks along the water. Although over 900 years ago, you can still find these magnificent traps today. Our beach is also home to many tropical friends of the forest including monkeys, macaws, toucans and sloths. If you visit May through October, you may be lucky enough to see whales teaching their calves to swim in these shallow waters.
We ask that you do not feed the animals. It is harmful to them.
